Hi, hello and welcome my name is Gerard Dombroski. I am a New Zealand Registered Architect based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington but I work across New Zealand. My architectural work spans residential and commercial projects over a range of scales and is delivered in dialogue with my studio practice, with insights from the design and fabrication of objects and structures feeding into my architecture studio and vice versa.

I am very passionate about architecture and endeavour to make the best buildings and spaces I can for the lovely people that I work with. I am extremely practical; I make a lot of the things I design and have been slowly chipping away at a building apprenticeship. I believe this practical involvement and understanding is valuable in an architect. While architecture Is the main goal within my practice we do offer bespoke furniture design and in house fabrication that I believe supplements and strengthens the outcome of the architecture if used in conjunction.

I love to explore ideas and embrace whimsy all while creating responsible spaces that that you long to return to, spaces to share with people and community, architecture that gives to humanity.
