OBJECT SPACE
In 1975 Sir Miles Warren designed a gallerythat would adjoin his apartment and architectural offices at 65 CambridgeTerrace. Images from the time he lived there express a living space that fusesarchitecture, art and home; a shag pile rug, Danish chairs and a salon stylewall of paintings. It looks like a place you’d want to be.

For LivingRoom, ten artists respond to Warren’s remarkable architectureand the use for which it was designed.

Drawing on our personal and culturalassociations with the objects and architecture of daily life, the exhibitionfeatures work that responds to the notion of being lived with, considering how we design and adorn domestic spaces as an act of self-expression.

Featuring new and recent work from GerardDombroski, Emma Fitts, Cat Fooks, Jack Hadley, Julia Holderness, Cheryl Lucas,Steven Junil Park, Nichola Shanley, Lisa Walker and Wayne Youle. Living Room existssomewhere between show-home, lounge room and design-fair-display.

Living Room is a collaboration between Objectspace and The National, and is curated by Kim Paton and Caroline Billing.
